It's a good cause and I hope they are able to make the deal work and preserve that stretch of land. One of my favorite areas to drive through and it would be a shame to it lost to development.
Seems to me like they are still a long way from their goal with only 4 weeks left. They only had to raise $500,000 out of the total $4,000,000 purchase price and are only at about $360,000 last I saw. Seems like it really should not be too hard to raise $500,000 for this.
They do have an on-line site for donations but it seems pretty quiet. I went to their site a made a donation. Here is their donation site if anyone is interested:

Just a follow up for those interested and those who donated, I checked the website today and they have reached $571,000 in donation. Which is $71,000 over the $500,000 goal and still have a couple days left before the deadline.
