Any word yet? I ordered from them and got a robo "order placed" email. Then, sometime later I emailed to ask about delivery and they didn't respond. I got one elsewhere, but nevertheless was going to leave the order open, but because I waited a week and never got a response to my email inquiry, I've emailed again to cancel the order. Again, no response. <---at them, not you.
Did you get yours? Or any communication besides the robo receipt?
Same thing happened to me with this company. Nothing has happened since I got the "order placed" notice. I was able to buy a pulse oximeter from a local medical supply company. They had them in stock, and I received mine two days after I ordered from them over the phone.
Although I tried to go through paypal, they said because I wasn't a member, they couldn't get my money back*...they said I had to go though my bank, and after much back and forth with them (paypal) they finally said they would take the money back from the seller and hold it until they heard from my bank (this may be SOP though, and they probably just said it to shut me up). I did go through my bank and my money reappeared in 2 days. I doubt paypal gave the bank the money back that fast though.
(*This really pissed me off....they can take my money but they can't give it back??? I hate paypal...from back in the day when I was active on ebay in the 90s and they really, REALLY strong-armed me trying to get me to join up...I never did and the guy literally said "BYE!" Very, very rude. I'll never forget it, and I'll never be a "real" member.)
I HATE PAYPAL. Did I say that already?
AND, in order for me to even talk to paypal about it, I had to SIGN UP as a member...to CHAT. How the hell can a company take my money as a non-member and then have no way to talk to them?
PS: the stupid company just emailed me tonight and said they would send it soon. Idiots. I canceled the order 9 days ago. Which was the 2nd email they didn't respond to. I wrote back tonight and said don't bother... that I had canceled some time ago...they responded (??!!) and blathered on about shipping delays. Sorry dude, it was no response that was the problem. This company sux right along with paypal. No sense at all.
However, I'm glad to say I did get a pulse oximeter and my oxygen level is great. My blood pressure, however.....

Oh, and I bet the bums will send it by then...and paypal won't be helpful. Are you a paypal member? Can you cancel?
Or does paypal not allow that?
Gad I hate paypal.
After telling both PP and the company I DO NOT WANT IT ANYMORE I get a notice late last night that its "on its way". At 1130 on a Friday night? I don't think so. So even though it obviously won't ship until Monday, they still won't cancel it. I went to the tracking page and all it says is
Your order is confirmed. We’ve accepted your order, and we’re getting it ready. Come back to this page for updates on your shipment status.
So they've accepted my order two weeks after charging me? How nice. And it isnt "on its way" but I don't care anymore. At least they are sending it soon, supposedly. I would have canceled through my bank but they said I would have to come in to the branch and sign papers and I didn't feel like doing that.
Seems like we both got the email at the same time.
I did go to my bank to sign papers....I called first and they got it ready for me - I went through the drive through, put on gloves and pulled the canister out, signed, went home.
Oh well. As long as they actually ship it Monday all is well. If they don't, I'll be at the bank first thing Tuesday morning.
