All Jews started out as people of color until they were carried off to Europe by the (Roman Empire) also known as Italy. Jesus the Christ lived in the Middle East and Northern Africa never in Europe , by the way. However you would think that the Jewish population we're white Caucasian until you dig down until their DNA.

Not the greatest lie, but it's oft repeated that China has 5,000 years of written history when in fact the oldest Chinese writing, the Oracle Scripts, has been dated to only 1250 BCE, which is about 3,250 years old, way short.

These are vexed questions. We can only see, and not necessarily "know", what is extant, we can't see, much less know, what is extinct.
What does "fact" mean?
What does "writing" mean?
On stone, clay, some kind of "paper" (papyrus, parchment, vellum, palm leaves, birch bark, paper proper), pottery shards (ostracon), other kind of inscription?
Is writing a terse accounting record, a narration of an epic story, something in between?
What does "dated" mean? Who dated what? How reliable is a dating method? More crucially, how reliable are these people doing the "dating"?
At any rate, as far as I have read so far in scholarly literature, the oldest extant manuscripts written on "paper" in cultures ranging from the eastern Mediterranean to the Indus valley are no older than around 2,200 years and most of those a century or two younger.
However, Egyptian inscriptions on both stone and papyrus in hieroglyphic and hieratic script go as far back as around 5,000 years, and Mesopotamian inscriptions on clay tablets in cuneiform script in the Sumerian and Akkadian languages also go back as far as around 5,000 years, again according to contemporary scholarly literature.
Another, perhaps more important, question, what is "oral tradition" worth?
What is it worth to you?
Why, to you, is one message a lie and another message the truth?
For it is written in days of old, "all human beings are liars".
That the Civil War was fought over slavery. It was over states rights.
In my view, in purely economic terms, one of the main issues was, not so much slavery as such, but slave labor vs. wage labor in an industrializing market economy.
To be sure, a slave labor system is not conducive to continent-wide competitive sale of domestic industrial products.
Related to that, tariffs - or the management external trade relations - were also a major issue.
Also related, plans for a cross-continental railway were first presented to Congress in 1845, construction legislation was passed in 1862, 1864, 1867, and the first cross-continental railway in the US became operational in 1869.
I would also take into account the practically simultaneous development of the telegraph, and the combined effect of manufacturing, transport and telecommunications on banking.
Also interesting how about 15 years after the end of the war the US began mass immigration of wage labor mainly from southern and eastern Europe.
By all accounts, then, domestic manufactures from the east sold in the west and food from the west sold in the east was a big deal.
Not to mention that war is a good kick-start for the whole business.

Perhaps you should read the secession charters for all of the Confederate states. In every single one, they identify slavery as the primary, if not singular, reason for leaving the Union. In other words, if someone is telling you why they're doing something, you should believe them.
