Whenever i see this video i've always wondered who is the speaker who speaks to the crowd before Hitler does and then introduces Hitler as i don't recognize him as an obvious Nazi leader or maybe he is with the Wehrmacht.
Can anyone answer this. He speaks at about the 3.00 minute mark in it.
The person speaking is Baldur von Schirach, head of the Hitler Youth from 1933 to 1940. Julius Streicher was short, bald, and wore a toothbrush moustache like Hitler. And if I am not mistaken, the video clip is from Leni Riefenstahl's film "Triumph of the Will" a documentary of the 1934 Nuremberg Rally.
Yeah, I would'nt have any idea. I could'nt watch the whole thing anyway. All I can think about is what a human waste. It's amazing how effective they were in indoctrinating children. At the very last days of the war , it was the Hitler Youth mostly who were defending Berlin. I still can't believe that young kids killed some 400,000 Russian soldiers defending that creep.
Yes, well the same could be said about the commie scum leader stalin. The same could be said for Bush,or any other pathetic leader in this world. Your idea of a creep is my idea of a great leader. so stop whining, he did not ask for a drawn out pathetic whining answer he asked who the person was.

Does anyone know by chance if Lani Riefenstahl is still living. I recall seeing an interview with her within the last few years.
She was still making films, and seemed quite vibrant despite an obvious advanced age.
