Yes, beautiful shot of nursery web spider. They bite, sometimes painful, but they are not dangerous ( poisonous).

We always called these guys Field Spiders and are very common around here- San Antonio. They're more inclined to make you want to hurt yourself more than they bite. I've had them run up my arm when I didn't see it. Now that will soil yer drawers! But at least with your post I know the real name of these critters. I would not expect you to have any major issues with them. While they seem aggressive, it's part of their defense and bites are not common. In the 64 years of me having to deal with them I've been bitten maybe twice. You just get sore for a day or two and it goes away. They feed on other insects so it's a good thing to have around.
