City of Meadows had the elementary school on lockdown and are just now releasing the kids for the day.

Does anybody have any details?

Call the school and ask. There's nothing on the wires. Besides, there are like 5 "Meadows" elementary schools in Houston.

No, it really happened. They were searching for some idiot right by our house in Sugar Land. Across Bellfort at the Milan apartment complex, there were many police. Apparently, there was a store robbery in Meadows Place and the guy decided (as usual, lately) to make his way over to Barrington Place/Ashford Lakes. They suspected he was at Milan. It reminded me of a couple of months when that bank was robbed way over on Grand Parkway and they had all the police over here (minus the lockdown, of course). They found the bank robber somewhere between Barrington Place/Bellfort and Dairy Ashford.

Yeah - I remember that. They had the whole area lined with police.

Thanks for the info about yesterday. I was trying to find out why my youngest wasn't home yesterday at the appropriate time.
