Just sux because everyone bought into the "this was the yr".
I think this lockout is being WAY overblown. There are billions of dollars at stake. I'm sure the league and players union will come down with a compromise before all the offseason work takes place.

Serves me right for cheering for the Texans while seated in a North Jersey sports bar.

That was a heartbreaking loss. Can't really say I'm surprised. Houston teams seem to have some calculated losing strategies. The main reason is because of the lousy defense.

The Texans are not that far from contending. The important pieces are already in place, very good DLine, Linebackers, Receivers, RB and QB. A new head coach (Rob Ryan in Cleveland) and an upgraded secondary would turn this franchise around.

Not to mention the Texans are young. I want Bill Cowher or Jeff Fisher (Bill Cowher rumors to Houston have started up again...basically a continuation from the ones that started last year and Jeff Fisher is close to being fired because Bud loves Vince). I wouldn't mind Rob Ryan though (great coaching bloodline), but I'd rather have a proven coach first (Cowher, Fisher, or Gruden) and then go after Ryan. Just no Childress please.

I agree with Bill Cowher, but there's no way in hell Bud will fire Jeff Fisher over VY lol

Why Fisher? What has he proven? That he can coach a mediocre team for years and not get fired? Might as well just keep Kubiak around for another decade.

Sell the team to Alaska or something. Let Mark Cuban bring in another team.
