We are moving in 5 weeks. I usually grind my own flour and bake fresh bread once a week but with the house on the market and packing I just can't keep up with that. Since we've lived here I've never found anywhere to get real bread. I want real sandwich bread for making my kids lunches, not artisan breads or French bread. I don't want it to have anything weird in it like high fructose corn syrup or anything I can't pronounce.

Any ideas? The only bakeries I've found only make sweets.

Thank you! That place looks awesome! Somehow I didn't find it when I googled.

You grind your own flour?

I am impressed. I can hardly cook a one course meal half of the time.

If shopping in HEB just look for a German Bauern bread ( 1 lb/$3.99 )
Its the best bread in that supermarket.

I LOVE their breads! Not in the crusty, delicious European sense but tasty nonetheless. Much better than anything at any of the local grocery stores IMO.

I had no idea there was one up in The Woodlands. I swear The Woodlands is starting to sound like a suburb in Southern California between Trader Joe's and The Great Harvest Company. They'll probably get In-N-Out next (first).
