I love to find good and reasonably cheap places to eat. They could be Hole in the Wall places or mom and pop restaurants!

My go to place for takeout is DoDo's Chicken on Richmond. Best roasted chicken in Houston. The first time I went was with some Columbian friends from college. I really wondered why we were eating there, until we tried the chicken, green plaintains and red beans and rice. Yum!

I also like Mi Pueblito, next door. But I wouldn't say that place is a hole in the wall place. Solid Columbian food.

I always get the number 8, spicy chicken, at Sesame Hut; it's located at NW Mall. Don't judge it because it is in a mall! It's the only place in the food court that gets a line. Another place would be Radical Eats on Fulton; it's a Mexican vegan/vegetarian restaurant. I also love Asia Market on 45/Cavalcade.

Yes. Asia Market. Cheap. Authentic. Good. Just be careful about how spicy you want it to be.
