Hi, we are moving to Bellaire because we found a house we love. I'm just wondering, what are some of the benefits of living in Bellaire vs Houston? I know a lot mire about West U than I do Bellaire...are the benefits similar?

Location, location, location. The cops here also respond very quickly, so that adds to the safe 'feel' of the city. I moved here about 3 years ago, and we absolutely love the convenience of being close to good doctors, food, arts, and everything else good Houston has to offer. Plus, the well-ranked schools keep house values up.

Proximity to downtown houston while still being its own small municiplaity. Less development on residential streets than west u so its easier to drive through. Less congested feeling. There is a drive to improveon existing parks and quite a few festivals and family/kid activities

West u is nicer but bellaire isnt too far behind
