In case you are not sure what I am talking about:

My position: Gaslamp is trying to avoid the typical progression of clientele change that many Houston bars see. Why? Because once the young professional and socialite (dooshbag) crowds leave, the make-up of bar patrons change, and there is an undeniable correlation between bar violence and ethnicity.

Your post basically said but but but two white guys got in a fight there one time... and there was violence committed but not on the bar premises.

While insufferable, the socialite/doosh crowds don't look for trouble (unless you are a roidedup brah crushing on the skank of a bigger roided-up brah). They are there to get laid and look pretty. The professional crowd just wants to get lit and relax after work.

All that being said, you won't find me more than once a year, if that, at any Midtown establishment. Laid back places where I can socialize in shorts and flip flops on a patio any time of the day are more my style.

Hope you can now see how your position deflects the real issue. If it doesn't make sense, that is OK too. Not everyone can grasp the finer points of debate and argument. I won't be responding to this fallacy again in any event.

Deflect? Lol. Ok. Stereotype much? Source for the correlation between bar violence and ethnicity? Since you know, you have such a well-versed debate. Interesting that your definition of a debate turns out to be you basically making lots of assumptions and then saying if you don't like it, go home. You're quite the Aristotle.

No actually its interesting how things are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. HPD is notorious for being the opposite.

Whyrall (troll) people are being mean and some just sounding like the men you have experience with (thats scary) but the men this article is about are lawyers. They arent low class. What you describe is low class/poverty social skills.

If you cant see people for their economic class, just skin tone, thats old school 1950s racism. Get with the 2010s class warfare already

No one is harassing her. Just calling out the trolling behavior. Something you also know all too well,

It is 2015. If white women don't want black guys on (in) them, then they are bigots who should lose their jobs and their future children should pay reparations.

Discussion closed.

Dang, this thread got nasty real quick. You gotta love the Internet where anonymity gives you the freedom to say what you really think. Goes to show you all this PC stuff just makes your real feelings go underground. This can be dangerous because when life gets scarce (e.g. Economic collapse) that's when the nastiness that was hidden blows up ( see what happened to Yugoslavia).
