New to town, and I see plenty of choices for Mexican.

Where can I eat the BEST Mexican food in town?

Off of 90A, a place called Eduardos. They have an AMAZING chille relleno and chicken caldo.

The most popular seem to be Chuy's and Pappasito's but there is a great book just out called "Fearless Critic" which you can buy in Boarder's and it's well worth the $20.

Most definitely here:

B4-U-EAT - Taqueria del Sol in Houston Texas Restaurant & Dining Guide

On the gulf fwy northbound feeder just outside 610.

$15+tip is more than enough for 2 to get full.

La Cocina in Richmond is pretty good. One good thing about Houston - good Mexican food is easy to find.

And this is why I switched to sushi. I would be the Goodyear blimp if I ate all the Mexican stuff around Houston.

I just tried Cantina Laredo on Westheimer just outside the beltway. Best cheese enchiladas I've ever had. My favorite usual place in Bravo's on the south side (Fuqua). Great chicken and beef fajitas.
