We are in process to buy a home with Bunker hill elementary. I would like to know the views of other parents whose kids are going there. When I looked at test scores looks like kids in bunker hill elementary are not doing great.

Top 10% of elementary schools in the state. What did you see that made you think different?

Best for your child? Best for someone else's child? Best for a special ed child? For an average child? A truly gifted child?

There are a number of sources you can use to research (Children at Risk scores, etc). The best plan of attack is to visit the schools you are interested in, get a feel for them, and make the decision. Everyone has an opinion, but do any of those matter for how your kid learns?

People worry about the weirdest stuff. Bunker Hill is in Spring Branch ISD and is South of I-10. It is going to be one of the best schools in the area. But, we were very happy with the HISD elementary our kid went to, so what do I know.

It’s this weird perception a lot of people have developed in the last 5-10 years. For some reason sending their child to a school with colored students is not viewed as desirable

Not sure why you think it’s not a good school.
