is wood or tile cheaper in design center, I was wondering if $15000 is enough for the flooring, counter, and cabinet upgrades.

It's where the rest are. Off Beltway 8 and West Rd. Northwest area, Jersey Village.

We got 9% of the base price in our community. Came out to like 18K
It was 8% for the longest, so just calculate it. I think they did a promo where it was 7% but they included granite, spindels, rounded corners, under-mount sink as part of the base price. At a 200K base price and 8% you should be around 16K in incentive. Ask him how much percentage you get, not dollar amount. You can always fight for more when you make an offer, but if you do go prepared with earnest money and negotiate.

What floor plan are you looking at?

15K will not go far! Especially for what you mentioned.

I have the Barcelona floor plan. Granite was 4K , Cabinet upgrades were at cheapest 2K, and flooring i didn't even bother with. We just extended the standard tile into the dining room, butlers pantry, and extended foyer. It was like 1350$ total for that.

we are planning on spring field. there is granite as standard in kitchen and master bath. I have small kids, that is the reason I do not want carpet downstairs.

Not sure what the size is.

But it's cheaper after the fact for sure.

Considering our average electric bill in all last home (1300sf) and the apartments we lived in were no less than $180 on average, I'd say that my home is ridiculously efficient.

What do you keep the day time air on? Night time? I work from home so it will have to be on a lot during the day.

We keep it on consistently on the weekdays from 6pm-9am @ 76
When we are out of the house, it's on 79, both upstairs and downstairs. We have 2 AC units, one for each floor.

On weekends, I usually leave it all day at 76.
