Thanks for you all letting me know about the I45 Killing Fields!

Actually, I am taking all of these "mental roadblocks" as determination to relocate! Seriously, and with no offence, does anyone know much about this case(s)? I'm a bit of a crime buff.

Your principal concern about Houston crime is the I45 killer? NEWSFLASH! Houston has become a 3rd world crime infested cesspool. Mexican gangs. Negro sociopaths from New Orleans. You are out of your mind for moving here.
Just got this off of another Houston forum posted yesterday, anyone care to comment?

Well, I wanted the negative, glad it is not from this forum.
I dont think Houston drivers are bad. I just think the average defensive driver here has not evolved yet. also houston has a lot of stay-at-home wives that rarely drives and have to go to far away sections of houston to find something to do for their kids. they get rattled easily with kids in the car and yapping away on the cellphone.

We (my hubby and I) couldn't find the "famous bad drivers" either. Just like any place else. I'm a speed demon and will have to learn to slow down, I hear tickets are given like candy at Halloween.

Ahhh...so you think I am a troll? I can assure you, according to Wikipedia (with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.[2]) I am not. I really really am looking for opinions of the area and attitude so I can make some decisions. I was shocked by that post and confused as this forum has been so accommodating. Maybe you are the troll. But it does seem I need to learn more about internet etiquette

It was in reference to this post: "Your principal concern about Houston crime is the I45 killer? NEWSFLASH! Houston has become a 3rd world crime infested cesspool. Mexican gangs. Negro sociopaths from New Orleans. You are out of your mind for moving here."

You must be new at this internet thingee.
