Personally, my favourite is Guadalajara. Not so much for the foods but damn the margaritas are STOUT!

Oh well. I like it. I am not from Huntsville. I was just commenting on the place I go when visiting for family purposes. I like El Camino Real. I also like Rosie's.

Bandito Burrito on Governors Drive is TOPS for taste and price. Much better than Madison.

Drive north on Hwy 53 about 12 miles to El Paso, better known as Best Food Yes. Yes, it is.

La Alameda on Jordan Ln is the gold standard for chilli relleno's.

Chapala on County Line next to Publix is my favorite in the area. Although you can't go wrong with Rosie's and Little Rosie's.

Catfishin, I am not familiar with La Alameda on Jordan. What is it close to? I consider myself a highly qualified food critic (in my mind at least) but I have not been there. You start talking chilli relleno and I am lock jawed. YUM. Funny story... I told my little one at around 6 years old, while eating a relleno at Guadalajara, it was a stuffed rat. Many years later as a teen she said "how can you eat that and why don't you eat the tail". I almost fell out because I forgot about the story and it obviously stuck with her. Bad parent! Zimern would be so proud.

El Olmeca on 72 by Kroger, hands down. They serve way more than the normal tacos, burritos, and enchiladas and they spice their food really well. I love their taco al pastor and I refuse to divulge how many times we go there in a given span of time. Chapala is good for basic TexMex. We were pleasantly surprised when we met up with friends at La Placita on Hughes Road in Madison the other day. The food was rather tasty and they had a pretty good variety.
