Bell South works great. You will be happy with what is offered in Huntsville. They had cable television way before we did where I lived in the suburbs of Chicago. I guess being a high tech town has it's advantages. I live 11 miles south of Ardmore and their stinking telephone and cable service is why I did not move in that area. Just make sure if you locate in the rural area that you have a good cable service or that Bell South offers DSL in that area. Fiber optics has to be in the area for Bell South to offer high speed internet. I tried a dish internet service, and it stinks.

I have been very happy with Hiwaay; however, they are based on AT&T. If you can get service with AT&T, then you can use Hiwaay (and if you pay by the year, it is slightly cheaper than AT&T).

I have Knology which does not have the greatest bandwidth and periodically drops even at non-peak times in the Madison area. All of this for premium pricing at that.

The concern I have about Knology is actually older than 6 years. It still exists and instead of making yet another topic on the same issue, I am allowed to post on open threads. Thanks for your concern.

True - but this is no longer relevant to the one who asked the question.

Thus, this should be a new thread if you want to raise a new issue or question.
