Most of these posts appear to be ~3 years old so here's a quick update: Lots of new construction in McMullen Cove in both the original phase and the new part. Also, Jeff Benton Homes has launched a new development across the street called Coventry. It backs up to Cobblestone Cove (Hampton Cove). All of the above is within Huntsville city limits and served by Hampton Cove Elementary and Middle and Huntsville High School. The widening of Little Cove Road is complete (thank goodness!!!) and to answer the question about flooding... we have lived in this area since 1997 without any flooding problems- even when the Flint River spilled its banks significantly following the April 2011 tornado outbreak.
