I've test driven 2 '15 5.0's and was thoroughly impressed. You can pick up a low mileage (10k miles) used one for $30k. I've been awaiting waiting for my config to pop up which is the only reason I haven't purchased. I want Ibiza Blue ivory interior and advanced package with adjustable suspension. Been a hard bird to find in my kneck of the woods but I assume a few will pop once lease tradeins start coming in.

that's really funny.

I suspect you haven't owned one for very long. I'm sure the newer ones are much more reliable than the old models, but the complicated design for the sake of showcasing German ingenuity can only make things difficult down the road.

Former Audi Fan.

It's a beautiful car with plenty of power but as someone that has a BMW 745I, it is not as quiet and doesn't feel as nice, I decided my 10 year old Beemer was just as good. I decided to get another Beemer (M2) for short drives and keep the 7 series for longer trips.

Get the Lexus. It will hold its value much better. You get what you pay for. Can't beat the Toyota/Lexus reliability...
