Glad you did this Trace, as I was thinking I needed to search for this thread and add a few names too.
Please elaborate a bit (others too). Tell us more about Clark Fork Fantast and Fisherman 100. I do know Fisherman 100 is looking at heating options and DR gave him/her an interesting suggesting.
Oh, where would we be without our DR? He must have a tremendously patient and wonderful wife.
I look forward to more posts about Fisherman 100 and Clark Fork Fantast so I feel like I know each of them better.
Thanks Trace for acknowledging people who add positives in yours (and I'm sure, the lives of many others) here at CDF.

Trace, what a nice surprise! Thank you so much!!!! And I want to second your kudos to Fisherman! Not only are his NID posts thoroughly enjoyable--he also wrote a particularly poignant and courageous post recently, over on a thread with a rather volatile topic...I tried to rep him, but couldn't. And I'd forgotten about this thread. So this is a great way to show our appreciation!

My ears are burning as I write this. I do not normally get involved in such serious subjects, but wanted to support the other members who took this subject on. Thanks to one and all. Too many to name. I would much rather take on light subjects such as ATV's, fishing, and Idaho living.

I know exactly what you're saying. This forum is R&R for me, too, but that doesn't mean I don't take the more serious stuff seriously...

Fisherman100 is right. I glanced at this thread when it first started last April. Liked it-STILL like it! It's refreshing to see people rally around each other and help each other. There's enough nonsense in today's real world that I just quit reading the paper and started to watch more of my Andy Griffith home made vhs tapes. Then when I have the tv shows memorized in my head it's time for tunes-the Moody Blues for instance!
Speaking of Idaho, I'm overdue for a visit. Thankfully, the gas prices this summer wasn't anything like last summer, when they peaked at $4.45 a gallon, SHEESH! So, what's-a-going on in Idaho, hmm?
