All I can say is, wow! And these illegals wonder why most Americans don`t like them. Some of these people just don`t have a conscious whatsoever.... The things that they do just doesn`t bother their conscious at all.

I'm dang sorry, but this sort of crap, should not be allowed to happen, you want the illegals, for those of you who have no problems with them, well guess what! this is the sort of crap, you must put up with, HAPPY. This is just pitiful. Why we allow this nonesense, i will never ever understand. I for one, don't want illegals here, i know, some are here for the right reasons, well because of a select few, are we also suppose to put up with those that commit crimes here, and get away with it, Not on your life, Americans, wake up!

They should have sued for racial profiling. That's the only reason he could have stopped them.

JUSTICE SERVED? Federal Jury Finds AZ Rancher Roger Barnett Did not Violate Illegal Immigrants’ Rights … However, Did Find Liable on Claims of Assault $77,804 in Damages | Scared Monkeys

So basically a JURY of Americans decided to give these illegals $$$ for committing crimes - unfrigginbelievable.

Who knows - you're supposed to get a jury of your 'peers'. In which case, it was a jury of illegal aliens from Mexico. Nothing would surprise me anymore.

No?

The very title of the OP states otherwise.

A judge, a person who is invested by the people to uphold sovereign law allows ILLEGAL (note the word illegal--denoting unlawful, criminal, outside the law, illicit, unauthorized, iniquitous) ALIENS to sue someone for emotional distress because he stopped them from coming into the country illegally through HIS land and you think the American citizen's rights are being protected here?

Sometimes I wonder exactly what it is that keeps your ears from slamming together.

Too bad he didn't live in Texas where they have a castle/property doctrine law. He could have simply shot them for trespassing.

The immigrants are represented at trial by the Mexican American Legal Defense
Why is a U.S. organization defending Mexicans who were trying to enter the country illegally? How freaking backwards.

The lawsuit said he then called his wife and two Border Patrol agents arrived at the site. It also said Mr. Barnett acknowledged that he had turned over 12,000 illegal immigrants to the Border Patrol since 1998.
That's a good man.

Mr. Barnett said some of the ranch´s established immigrant trails were littered with trash 10 inches deep, including human waste, used toilet paper, soiled diapers, cigarette packs, clothes, backpacks, empty 1-gallon water bottles, chewing-gum wrappers and aluminum foil -
I wouldn't be putting up with that at all. I'd be pretty pissed as well and defending my land too.
