This is getting ridiculous. I'm sorry, but this is a situation where if I am the federal agents that the Laredo Border Patrol are asking to come in, I'm going in guns'a'blazin. They (the cartels) got some nerves trying to come up in here taking over land and property. I'm about to call the police department and ask them if it is true. No one is picking up. I was gonna be like, "Is it true that a Mexican drug cartel has taking over ranches in the US?"
a couple more picked up on the story but no major media outlets yet
BREAKING: MULTIPLE RANCHES IN LAREDO, TX TAKEN OVER BY LOS ZETAS - TheCypressTimes (http://www.thecypresstimes.com/article/News/National_News/BREAKING_MULTIPLE_RANCHES_IN_LAREDO_TX_TAKEN_OVER_ BY_LOS_ZETAS/31835 - broken link)
Maybe someone living in Texas can call the Laredo police headquarters. I tried, but I live in Maryland, and no one answered the phone. The number is: 956-795-2828.
