Employers of illegals are much too greedy to share their profits with consumers. Have you not noticed the skyrocketing prices for food? Illegals only benefit their employers. They certainly aren’t saving us money.
Of course; we will see the effects of having to hire legal workers who will be more expensive to employ in the price of services.

Are you in favor of cheap, illegal labor? If so, what do you think will happen once illegals are legalized and are no longer cheap and exploitable? Would we then require a new crop of illegals?
By the way, what should be done with the millions of unemployed and underemployed citizens and legal residents?
Unlike the “public servants” who will be required to process applications, verify info, conduct background checks, provide medical exams, issue work permits and driver’s licenses. . . to name a few, for the UNTOLD MILLIONS who will apply for amnesty under the DREAM Act. Who do you think will pay for that?
Yes, our country would be well on the road to recovery if we could rid ourselves of the millions of parasitic illegals who are sucking us dry.
And on that note, Amen to you, Yes your right. There is no way in hek, we would not be benefited by illegals being deported. Great idea lets deport all of them, and have this discussion, after they are all gone.

A favorite myth of the pro-illegal side. There is no evidence to suggest that those who use illegal labor actually pass on any savings to the consumer. In fact in my own experience with a mason that used illegals that I fired he was a only a few dollars cheaper than the mason I replaced him with.
No, and you wouldn't be able to find quality tortillas anywhere in this country if they did either. That would be a real bummer.
But while you're doing the impossible, would you mind writing me a check for a billion dollars and building me a house out of diamonds? Might as well just make everyone rich too. Oh, and make me sing good, and get me a pony that sings too...
Oh really? Why's that? I guess you think LEGAL Mexican-Americans can't cook Mexican food? (Not to mention that you don't HAVE to be a particular nationality to cook ethnic specialties LOL)
It takes A LOT of work, a lot of research and a lot of compiling and combining numbers to answer this question fully and with confidence. The problem is not that fact, the problem is that it seems like the government doesn't really want to do too much to find the truth out about illegal immigration's costs The DHS did recently release some information about illegal immigration costs that seemed to support that it would be cheaper for us to deport them than to allow them to stay, but how much news did that make?

gimme a break already
Now Opyelie, you know illegal aliens are the ONLY people capable of providing quality goods and services in this country.
I still don’t understand how so many houses built during the early 1900’s are still structurally sound, whereas houses built 10 years ago by illegals are crumbling. Hmmm. . .
By the way, the best enchiladas I have ever eaten were prepared by the mother of a close friend, and she’s a black woman from Texas.

I just stated what would happen with the cost of services in certain industries. We cannot say for certain until we cross that bridge.

No savings passed to the consumer but perhaps to the business itself. Every business has a different situation; what one business may find as cost savings another would not see a difference.

I agree! It's difficult to get quantifiable data when the population one is trying to research is worried about legal repercussions.
Also, with so many other pressing issues, its difficult to pinpoint which issues to tackle immediately, in the near future, etc.
