No savings passed to the consumer but perhaps to the business itself. Every business has a different situation; what one business may find as cost savings another would not see a difference.
And some how this justifies the theft, the abuse and the fraud?

Illegal immigration has not reduced our costs. Again, only the employers profit. Name one industry dominated by illegals in which the costs have consistently declined, or have not increased, with the possible exception of fast food dollar menus, and I doubt illegal aliens are responsible for that.

Why don't we try deporting the majority of them and find out? We could start with the "high profile" ones that no longer "live in the shadows" but blatantly lobby our Congress critters (including their famiy members that are also here illegally) and flood our bleeding heart media with their "sob stories" and rather than just have an employer fire illegal workers, go back to actually deporting them.

I'm with you on this plan, although I would take it one step further and deport at least 3/4 of them and then do a study to see the effects it has. In addition I would sieze any and all assets they have to re-pay any and all aid they recieved for medical, housing, food etc.......anything left that they have earned over that repay amount they could take back home with them, it would allow them a start again in their own country.

OOPS! Whats that? There would be nothing left you say? Oh, well too bad, so sad, now that their pockets are empty they know what real Americans are feeling!

Yes, I said that the employers would profit in reduced expenses. See post #19.

It seems that there is some miscommunication going on as to how I'm making a point come across. Rather than proceed back and forth with unnecessary debate, I will respectfully bow out of this thread. Y'all have a good day!

Yep and that is why more attention and problem-solving needs to be spent on this topic of illegal immigration. So many politicians and government agency leaders want to brush it under the rug. But, there are so many things wrong with illegal immigration that that just isn't an option.

That is one tax increase I would vote for!!

I find illegal immigration to be analogous to someone breaking into another person's house then stealing from them, but then the burglar is pitied because they didn't have the things they stole and therefore are not prosecuted. This would be considered ridiculous, but illegals are doing the same thing. They don't pay their taxes, generally can't speak english and often take the jobs away from many unskilled legal citizens. They're basically stealing from Americans, although many people seem to think nothing should happen to them. Like the burglar, it would be more beneficial to prosecute those whom break the law. Deporting all illegals would be much more beneficial than keeping them here. Crime would go down, everyone would have to learn english and tax dollars wouldn't be wasted supporting millions of people whom don't even bother to pay their taxes.

Nope! Tortillas, like cigars, taste better when they are illegal.

I'd certainly like some kind of logical explanation for that. I have tasted Mexican food prepared by legal Hispanic citizens and it was supurb. I myself make excellent enchiladas for a white woman.
