Yes, but pro-illegals think our generous immigration system is "racist" and "too restrictive". They want it lax enough so that millions more uneducated and unskilled people can come to our country and abuse our services.
Exactly.
Which begs the question.....WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
It would be a little bit difficult to prove the immigration laws are racist against Mexicans when Mexicans by far make up the majority of legal immigrants (besides the most illegals).
Now it could definitely be argued that the laws are racist for that reason, far more hispanic ethnicities are allowed to come here than any other. Far too heavily one ethnic group, very little balance.
It is based on nationality. If someone thinks that it's racist then that thought is not very well channeled as it means they can't apply because too many of their Country men came here illegally and legally before them. They only have those that preceded them to blame.
Which begs the question.....WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
There are two reasons. One, is employer greed for cheap labor the other is ethnic ties.
I thought of another one. Bleeding heart liberals who don't have a brain in their heads due to their misplaced compassion and have tunnel vision for our country's future.
Grandfather clauses had nothing to do with race, either. It was just a TOTAL FREAK COINCIDENCE that the people they kept away from the voting booth JUST HAPPENED TO BE black (and mexican!).
Whitch aint got a thing bout today and ILLEGAL aliens. Mexicans CANT vote in the USA, Americans includin Mexican Americans like me CAN vote.
Yes, it's remotely the same. We're talking about a set of laws intended to keep certain people from doing certain things, limiting how they can interact with society, etc.
Please explain how they are so different that they can't be compared? If it's not "remotely" similar this should be quite easy.
Huh? Last I heard they DIDN'T choose to interact with the American society... especially when it comes to following OUR rules and speaking OUR language.
