Right! And here we are back to quoting those racist organizations. Isn't Numbers USA the statistics that track down the children, grandchildren and so forth... So, even if the grandchildren are citizens somehow they are still a burden on society. Their tax dollars do not count. Okay then... I believe you now.
How to derail a thread: if you don't agree with FACTS, call them racist!
News, Alabama immigration crackdown costs state up to $11 bln: study
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (Reuters) - Alabama's crackdown on illegal immigrants, widely seen as the toughest in the United States, has cost the state's economy up to $10.8 billion, according to a new study.
The Alabama law, passed in June, requires police to detain people they suspect of being in the U.S. illegally if they cannot produce proper documentation when stopped for any reason, among other measures.

Yeah, I'm a believer right from the writer of the article calling illegals "undocumented workers" to criticizing the Republicans for wanting our immigration laws respected and enforced.
If we really have to rely on illegal alien to keep our economy afloat rather than our own citizens then something is very, very wrong.
The cost-benefit analysis by University of Alabama economist Samuel Addy estimated up to 80,000 jobs were vacated by illegal immigrants fleeing the crackdown, costing Alabama's economy up to $10.8 billion.
The lost jobs also cost Alabama up to $264.5 million in lost state sales and income taxes, and as much as $93.1 million in lost city and county sales taxes, it found.
Clearly, someone is lying. According to this video, the vacated jobs are now being filled by citizens. In fact, the unemployment rate has dropped in most counties. So, how is the state losing tax revenue due to illegals fleeing jobs? Furthermore, how many of the employers of illegals were actually withholding taxes? Hmmm. . .

Please explain how they are racist. care to post links that prove they are racist. Please spare us links to people stating opinions.
Comprehensive immigration reform generates an increase in U.S. GDP of at least 0.84 percent. Summed over 10 years, this amounts to a cumulative $1.5 trillion in additional GDP. It also boosts wages for both native-born and newly legalized immigrant workers.
• The temporary worker program generates an increase in U.S. GDP of 0.44 percent. This amounts to $792 billion of cumulative GDP over 10 years. Moreover, wages decline for both native-born and newly legalized immigrant workers.
• Mass deportation reduces U.S. GDP by 1.46 percent. This amounts to $2.6 trillion in cumulative lost GDP over 10 years, not including the actual cost of deportation.2 Wages would rise for less-skilled native-born workers, but would diminish for higher-skilled natives, and would lead to widespread job loss.

I would rather stick to Immigration Policy Center than youtubes or organizations such as NumbersUSA, FAIR or CIS, all founded by John Tanton. Not very credible. Thank you very much.

I don't buy any of this in this hurt economy. Many employers are greedy and DON'T want to pay wages to illegal aliens. Also ILLEGAL aliens don't dare complain when being jacked around because the threat of deportation hangs over their heads...........we WILL.
Besides your link doesn't work.
The SPLC are hypocrites anyway; the don't seem to hold some of the La Raza groups which are possible terrorists in my eyes to the same standards as Stormfront.
The argument that legalizing these illegal aliens which would allow them to keep the jobs they are holding in this country as a tax benefit doesn't hold any water. If instead they were deported those jobs would open up for Americans and they in turn they would be paying those same income/sales taxes, etc. or more because the employers would then have to pay an American a fair wage for those jobs.

You do realize that this is the Hinojosa report earlier that I pointed out that is in fact incorrect and has already been disproven.

If all unauthorized immigrants were removed from the United States, the country would lose $551.6 billion in economic activity, $245 billion in Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and approximately 2.8 million jobs, even accounting for adequate market adjustment time, according to a 2008 report by the Perryman Group.26 The second report from Hinojosa (the one you are linking to now), if you actually read it, nullifies the first report as it claims an increase in GDP by legalization. The third claim links to another Hinojsa report which uses immigrant information and then deducts the percentage they claim as being from illegal aliens. He claims that they will have increased wages if legalized (Which actually lowers overall GDP) which contradicts the claims of the other reports used. The last report nullifies Hinojosas claims of over 2.7M illegal alien workers in CA alone, this report only claims there are 1.85M illegal aliens in the work force in CA and that there are 2.7M total in the State. All these reports simply cancel each other out, none have a definitive proof of anything.
Here from the Federal Reserve (you should accept as a non-racist organization):
Quote:
In Georgia, where the illegal immigrant share of the labor force went from about 4 percent to 7 percent from 2000 to 2007, a study by the Federal Reserve found that the illegal labor caused a 2.5 percent wage drop overall and an 11 percent drop in construction wages over the period. This analysis used a confidential state employer database that helped identify Social Security mismatches, making it one of the most sophisticated estimates available.
THe National Research Council’s landmark 1997 study estimated that high school dropouts earn 5 percent less per year due to immigration, which totaled $13 billion in wage losses at a time when the illegal alien population stood at less than half its present number. Harvard University’s George Borjas concluded that immigration reduced wages for the poorest 10 percent of Americans by about 7.4 percent between 1980 and 2000 with even larger effects for workers with less than 20 years of experience. Other economists who have found that immigration depresses low-skilled wages include the Cato Institute’s Daniel Griswold. (non-racist organization)
This pretty much sums up the entire argument:
Quote:
It should be understood that these are shifts in employment practices, not a reaction to a permanent shortage of native workers. In the short run, individual job openings can become “immigrant jobs” without fundamentally changing natives’ ability or willingness to do the work. However, if employers were not able to employ illegal aliens, common business practices would lead employers to increase wages and hire underutilized natives, just as they have adjusted their business models to take advantage of the current unskilled labor surplus. In recent years, immigrant labor has absorbed many job opportunities that previously went to to unskilled natives. Within the unskilled labor force (high school education or less), the share of immigrants increased by 3.4 percent from 2000-05 as labor force participation among native unskilled workers fell by 4.1 percent. THe drop in labor force participation was highest among unskilled workers aged 18 to 44.
