Indians invited the explorers in and were killed for it. I call that pretty illegal, but from a mankind point of view, not written laws.
You know what that is how it goes, thats evolution. Not even morals and ethics can stop it.
The people who came to North America and built a civilization where there was none are hardly illegal aliens. Furthermore, you should read up on Kennewick Man to see why in another way your argument doesn't hold.
We have to worry about the furtures for our children not the citizens of another country. Could you imagine what changes could be made in Mexico if all the 12-20 million Mexican illegal immigrants flooded back into Mexico after they have lived in America? I don't think they would set back and live like they did before. Let them march in the streets of Mexico and demand changes. It may be the only thing that would turn Mexico around.

I think we should pack up an advance team of all the Mexican rights, Hispanic rights, Latino rights, La Raza, Metcha, lawyers, social workers, et al to get things setup and then start busing them over. With their experience working our system it shouldn’t take long for them to set up the same systems and get the Mexican government to see things their way.

The reason the woman wrote that poem was for groups long long ago who were legal. The woman did not write it for illegals of today to come here, and did not write it for people who were big troublemakers to come here making our own problems far worse.
Being that my grandparents and father came over from Germany in 1940 to avoid camps for hiding Jewish people, I will try to ignore that part of your statement as I would rather not get into it.
But the French from my knowledge and visit do not like us, and have no issue stating that fact. So no love loss.
Katherine Heigl of Grey's Anatomy evidently considers herself German American being that she corrected the annoucer at the Emmy awards on the pronunciation of her last name.
