If the deferred sentencing route is taken to deal with the 11 million, they will collectively be on a short leash with breaking any laws. A simple misdemeanor of any sort could violate the deferred sentencing agreement, and then they get sentenced deported immediately. This is what the grapevine is about the House immigration bill.

That's how it is with petty drug use, in the first instance if you admit guilt they put of sentencing until your next arrest. The terms of the deferment are that you'll be a model citizen afterwards.

Reagan is one of the reasons our immigration laws started being ignored. He was a crook and served the interest of his big business cronies . His lies about what he knew and did concerning the illegal activities with the contra in central america were even worse than the lies Nixon was forced to resign over..
