We are a nation of laws or we aren't. If you give an amnesty, everyone with an ounce of intelligence would know that more will come. Not only because they are pretty assured that all they have to do is squat for a while and eventually an amnesty will come. Those who where given amnesty will then leave the undesirable jobs and starting taking the jobs more valued by citizens. That's why when those new illegals come in, they will have a huge population of amnestied immigrants to give them significant support. They went through the same thing and will naturally have empathy. Now you not only have the powerful business lobby, race hustlers, politicians hungry for support along with these new fresh voters, who will at that time be able to to turn the tide. At that time we, will no longer have adequate numbers or sympathetic ears to block another amnesty. This is the end all to end all folks.
Currently we can handle it, but we can't get our legislation pushed through at the federal level in any significant way. This is because the most powerful force in all this is (drumroll please)........ "Globalization" see us as merely a nuisance. The so called conservatives and Lou Dobbs Democrats better stop sitting in their loung chair complaining about the problem, then vote for idiots. Our first priority is for us (the grass roots) to find a viable candidate who can win and fully supports our cause ( a governor or Senator ), and not let the party hacks choose who will run. (These Party insiders are all members of the Council on Foreign Relations or the Bildebergers). Almost every member of the ruling class in this country belong to one or more of these groups (think Clintons, Bush's, John Kerry, George Soros, Rockefeller family, you name it).
These are the groups who control the Globalized Free Trade system; which equals at this point the economy of the entire world. How can we fight this, we must find our own candidate, who is not beholden to any of these groups and try our best to not have them six feet under before they can even get a chance to shake some old guys hand at a dinner, or flip pancakes. I guess what I mean guys, is this time it's not David and Goliath, it's Papa Smurph vs. Godzilla. What do you think?

Oh get a grip. You are afraid of "racial mixing" please. That makes ME SICK! I am a person that is of 4 different racial background. White, Black, Native Indian, and Middle Eastern. And guess what. I am a great person with no hang ups. I find it interesting and wonderful to have these backgrounds and cultures and history. Buddy, in the begining we were all black!!!! Humans originated from AFRICA!!! Race...who cares. WE ARE ALL HUMAN. We all bleed the same, feel, touch, see, laugh, cry, stress, get sick, feel pain the same. AND GUESS WHAT...when we all die in the end...your race won't matter!
Dude, I share your idealism. These facts have been preached for some time now and really don't matter much. We as human beings decide what reality means to us, and there are to many people who embrace divisions and this will never change. My arguement is in the reality. Yes I wish the culture of some Asian and Latin American countries as well as the perpetual hate mongering of our own home grown racists would realize what you say is true. We are not only destroying the culture of our country, which was going in the right direction in overcoming racial prejudice. We are also now importing hate and ingnorance. I am mixed to, but I see this problem through a practical conscience and I am not trying to see it from my own racial perspective which is what you say we should do, right?

If you think about it, we now have enough people against Illegal Immigration that if any new elected president tryed to grant amnesty, we the people would bring down so much pressure that it would stop them in their tracks.
If amnesty was granted behind our backs, riots would break out. The elites know this.
What I see happening if Illegal Immigration is not stopped soon, is this country becoming ununited.
With individual state setting their own Immigration laws because the Feds won't, it shows that victory on our part is in progress.

That is somewhat hypocritical. How can you view as racial mixing as a problem, yet you are racially mixed yourself? That makes no sense to me.
This "inevitability" idea drives me nuts. It is NOT inevitable that we merge the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. It is NOT inevitable that more and more illegals will come over the border, and that the hispanics will rule the country in a few more years, because of the illegals' offspring.
I always see these articles in the newspapers about how our country will be in the future - how it's going to be mostly hispanic, etc. WHY? If that's so, why isn't our government stopping it? Do they LIKE this hispanicization of America? Is this what we leave our children and grandchildren?
I know that the American people are finally waking up, particularly when they saw those illegals march last year for their "rights", of which they have none except to be deported.
So, it's a question, I think, of how far the American people will go, and how long it will take them to take over the government so that We the People will rule and decide for ourselves what kind of country we want - not what the elitists want.
It's starting, but these things take so long - 10 years ago, organizations were talking about this issue (chiefly, FAIR), but nobody was listening. Now, people are listening, but they've lost 10 years in denying the problem.
Nothing is inevitable. They say that because they WANT that to happen, that's why they say it. It's a tactic to make people give up hope, to feel that their effort would be futile, so they do nothing.

I can see a Civil WarII /Revolution coming, I've seen it for quite some time. Since our government won't enforce our existing laws, nor will they listen to the citizens of the country that they're paid to supposibly represent, but they will set their sites on Illegal law breakers that that have no legal say in this country. People are fedup with this.
Sooner or later something has to give.
I see this country becoming divided up again. With different states passing their own laws on immigration, it should be obvious to most of us who are against Illegal Immigration.
