Or they realize that a physical barrier is not an effective way of fixing the problem.
I find it laughable that a Trump supporter lectures others on educating themselves on issues, when their President has never bothered. He had rather make things up to back his viewpoint.
How is that possible when there is all the evidence in the world out there that the good walls in place already have been very effective in deterring illegal entry? I have posted several links proving it and also from the Border Patrol and Homeland Security. Do the anti-wall people know better than them?
We are not responsible for Trump's education or lack thereof and it has nothing to do with the facts of the wall issue. How are facts from the Border Patrol itself made up things?
If more don't want the wall it's because they haven't informed themselves on this issue or they don't care because they are bleeding hearts with no brains, hire illegal aliens for profit or have ethnic ties to them. None of which are good reasons not to build the wall.
There is much better, newer technology than a wall. “The Wall” is a waste of money.
Drones monitor and observe illegals crossing the border. Border Patrol agents can then locate, track and apprehend these people by helicopter or other means. Infared senders, more drones, etc. are needed.
More roads toward remote areas would help Border Patrol access and make illegals less able to continue thru into the US. More Border Patrol agents and other personnel are needed, as they are understaffed. A long wall like Trumo wants would take years to build and cost at least $25 billion.
Likely the wall, even if funded, would take years to build and there would be hundreds+ of lawsuits by property owners along the border whose land will be taken by eminent domain, if the government is successful.

I don't have the link posted by someone else but there indeed have been miles of fencing built in recent years. Most aren't the type of good barriers that were approved by congress back in 2006 though. I'm sure that the $1.3 billion is being appropriated for the latter but congress wouldn't allow that to be for the new good barriers.

ive never seen a latino panhandler...ever. And I live in Ca. (born and raised in southeast san diego...minutes from the border) 100% employment. Because of all of the LOW WAGE MANUAL LABOR JOBS in the U.S. that attract these migrant workers. DRY UP THE DEMAND...DRY UP THE SUPPLY.

Illegal aliens aren't migrants nor immigrants. The reason there are so many low waged manual labor jobs now is directly due to their presence in this country. Many of those jobs use to be decent paying jobs before millions of cheap illegals flooded our border.
No one forces them over the border to work here. They know right from wrong so they are just as guilty of breaking the law as those who hire them and they both need to be held accountable.
The difference between the two though is, the illegals can run and hide and do not always have a permanent address. The business that hire them do and are easier to deal with.
