It is the economy stupid! Things are going well here in the US. They are NOT going well in the countries these people are coming from! Large numbers left when our economy went in the tank. Wouldn't it make sense that they would return when things are going much better? Has nothing to do with Trump policies.

The whole premise of this thread is disingenuous because the article explains the difference of the illegal immigrants arriving now as compared to past administrations and the laws that make it difficult to deal with it as it is now with the influx of families rather than singles. The administration does not write the laws or provide funds to deal with immigration. Congress does and they won't get off their collective asses to fix it.
