Most Latinos don't even care too much about immigration politics. They just go about their lives. But SB 1070 pissed off a lot of people, and Latinos are paying more attention than ever.
The yokels in Arizona mightve just given the immigration reform movement the boost it needed.

I'll defend America too, and if Mexico was invading the US(which the anti-illegals always claim is happening), I would fight the Mexican government.
My family in Mexico have always fought against the Mexican government in the revolution, the Cristero War, etc. I have no problem with that.
But the anti-illegals are always acting like there's this inevitable war is going to go down between "real Americans" and illegals, when it isn't really like that.

I saw a poll today that said 91% of Americans oppose illegal immigration. Yep they would definitely be outnumbered. Even the legal hispanics are getting tired of illegal immigration. I have actually heard legal hispanics use horrible words to describe illegals. I used to live near the border and have heard legal hispanics very frustrated with illegal immigrants.

Americans of every race/ethnicity are fed up with this nonsense. Thank goodness for the AZ law. Otherwise, illegal immigration would still be swept under the rug. They can no longer claim that only a small fringe group of “racists” oppose illegal immigration. The muzzle has finally been removed from the silent majority.

The nature and tactics of this movement are no less invasive and malignant as what the Iranians are doing in the middle east by proxy.
