If they are illegal, how will they get REAL ID that Bush passed into law? Seems like getting this immigration bill passed (amnesty) is just one small step that government is using to reach another goal...

It is--the erasure of the borders separating Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. Section 413 of the Shamnesty bill calls on Congress to “accelerate the implementation” of the Security and Prosperity Partnership - announced by Bush in Waco, Texas, in 2005 - so that the United States can “improve the standard of living in Mexico.”

Do U.S. taxpayers want to take on the overwhelming economic burden of solving poverty problems in Mexico? I don't know about you, but this is one taxpayer that doesn't! Enough of American money, both in remittances from illegal alien workers and aid to Mexico from our government (ultimately our pockets) is diverted to Mexico already. Why don't we just annex the entire country and take it over all ready?

This real ID thing is just bad all around . If you do not know who they
>> are , after that exaustive 24 hour background check , then what is the ID
>> going to do ?
Next , this gives identity thieves a whole new area of comerce. It is like
a store for thieves . There is way too much info on this card Bush proposes.
All that is needed is a fingerprint and photo. If everyone is put into a
system , a secure one , then you simply scan the fingerprint .
The problem is that system . Is there any way to make it secure ? Would
they put all Americans in this system ? The only ones that need to be in it
are immigrants that are not yet citizens .

Without a National ID, it is nearly impossible for employers to determine who is legally in our country.

I strongly support a National ID.

And then when the thieves learn to get a hold of this card and fake it, well you have everything you need! That is why it will then be implanted. Again all because government has created the problem that we have by not enforcing our existing laws.

Default National ID = Credit Card

We already have a form of National ID- the Drivers License. We just need to make it as secure as a Credit Card. Without a tamper proof ID, we can not stop illegal immigration.

And without and honest government YOU WILL NEVER STOP ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, NO MATTER WHAT "NEW LAW" or DEVICE you use. The government is LETTING THEM IN not trying to stop them and failing.
