I disagree with his percentages, but he is 100% right about the snow removal. This happens just about every winter.

Lived here 40 years and have fewer than about 5 times had difficulty getting around during winter. Once was the 78 blizzard and perhaps a few more times of snow or ice. One time we just could not get up out of the subdivision. Had the same issue once in NC when the whole state was covered in a blizzard of snow and ice. But this did not keep us in for more than a day or two.

I dont expect much in snow removal. We just travel carefully and SLOWLY and watch the crazies try to drive like it is summer.

Plus, doesn't Indy have a rule that residential streets are only plowed when we get 6 or more inches of snow? Or is it they only call for help plowing those roads when we get 6 inches otherwise they wait until every other road is plowed?
