Default Nice Apartments on Southside of Indy?

We're looking for a 1 bed 1 bath on the southside of Indy ideally near I-65. Looking to pay between $500-$600 a month. We need either washer & dryer or the hookups in the Apt. Any ideas? We want a decent place in a safe area.

I wouldn't personally suggest Marion County. I would try to stay somewhere in Greenwood off of 65. It's a developing area so you may be able to find someplace decent. Overall I don't think you'll find it too much different than Fort Wayne. Maybe a little more traffic and crime.

Try Valley Forge apartments.

When my wife and I first married that is where we lived. Prices were VERY reasonable (actually down right cheap) while the apartment itself was very nice. When I was there, it was mostly retired couples living there with a few students from the University of Indianapolis.

Plus, it's hard to beat it's location. It is right by 465 and US31.

Try Overlook at Valley Ridge Apartments at I-65 and Southport Rd. They are new, safe, clean and affordable. The interstate is 1 minute away, airport 20 minutes, downtown 10 minutes, northside 25 minutes. It's near lots of restaurants, shopping and would be a great option for you to explore.
