What flavor of koolaid is that and where did you get it?

Care to refute any of my argument?
Carter --- bad president?
Reagan -- good president?
Obama.... is he a liar?
Hillary..... is she a liar?

So in your opinion Trump isn't a liar and just a flip-flopper?

Is there really a difference?

This is not the appropriate forum so I'll just say if you really believe Donald Trump does not lie I would suggest you apply Google to the phrase " lies" and check out the hits. There is a laundry list as there is with every politician. Yes including Reagan. "We did not, I repeat, did not trade weapons or anything else [to Iran] for hostages" sound familiar?

Back to the market I'll say it again. When people try to time the market the masses lose their asses.

I would say the masses lose their asses because they react, not because of planning or trying to time the market.

If the masses weren't asses, there would be nothing to time for.

It would be much better if you stated these numbers as a percentage of GNP.

All the numbers that were slung around during the Reagan/Carter election fight are irrelevant now.

All the number slung around during the Clinton administration are likewise no longer important.\

Those numbers expressed as GNP percentages would be comparable.

Lumping "people" into one category doesn't make any sense.

Generally, I'm scaling out when the "masses" are climbing in. The same people who will wait even 15 minutes, let alone an hour to buy a lottery ticket are the same people buying at the top and selling at the bottom.

You might not be able to time the market, but you can certainly, avoid buying at tops and selling at bottoms with a little study,

About half our national debt is owned by we the people and businesses, and our governments as investments or stores of value.
