None are Christian that I could see, unless Sanspeur had a recent Saul->Paul conversion on the road to Vancouver.

I've known and worked with many Muslims over the years and the answer is No, Islam does not teach violence. It teaches pretty much the same as most other religions.

People commit violent acts in the name of it and some teach acts of violence in it's name but the same can be said for many religions.

Does Christianity cause violence? Let's see ? Slavery, genocide, the holocaust and pedophilia . I don't know maybe . I think people who abuse power in the name of religion do

Ehh, once again the topic is Islam not Christianity and most of the people responding as mentioned above are Athiest or Agnostic not Christians. We treat all Religions equally.

I notice that some people are saying "no", but then go on to explain that Christianity promotes violence just like Islam does.

Instead of saying, "no, if", they should be saying, "yes, but."
