I live in New York City and I often stop in at corner stores to grab a few things here and there. Some of them are owned by Muslims and behind their heads are sometimes porn magazines.

???

Yes, Muslims are very into very sick porn.

"So here's the irony: Google ranks Pakistan No. 1 in the world in searches for pornographic terms, outranking every other country in the world in searches per person for certain sex-related content," the report reads.

"Pakistan is top dog in searches per-person for 'horse sex' since 2004, 'donkey sex' since 2007, 'rape pictures' between 2004 and 2009, 'rape sex' since 2004, 'child sex' between 2004 and 2007 and since 2009, 'animal sex' since 2004 and 'dog sex' since 2005, according to Google Trends and Google Insights, features of Google that generate data based on popular search terms."

The country also tops - or has been No.1 - in searches for "sex," "camel sex," "rape video," "child sex video" and some other unprintable searches."

Yes, I have seen these stats before.

It just strikes me as off because there is NO way these store owners could EVER sell such things in their home countries, much less, think about it. I am not sure, but I would believe they would decry such things, if asked about them here in the states, but making money from them is open game, it seems, no matter their religious beliefs.

We do have our share.

We do have a wide range of diversity in how "religious" we are. Just because a person says he is Muslim does not guarantee they actually perform Islam. According to statistics only about 74% of those claiming to be Muslim consider them self to be religious. Although the percentage varies greatly by Nation

For some statistics check here: The World

The point being there are Muslims that do not follow Islam. Not just in the US.

In any country one can find illegal, illicit or deviant behaviors if one knows the right people. we do have more than a few hypocrites. Some surprising things: In Parts of Europe less than 75% of the Muslims believe in the Existence of heaven and hell, In parts of Africa up to 55% of the Muslims do not believe the Qur'an is God's Word. In the Mideastern and North African Muslim Nations less than half the Muslms read the Qur'an or do the obligatory prayers.

It is obvious humans are diversified in terms of religiosity and the full range of human variables.
Within these variables we can use the Bell or Normal Curve as a guide to determine the pattern of distributions. We can then discount the extreme percentile and focus on the mean or average.

Ignoring the extremes, from the perspective of reality human nature, I believe all human beings are inherently and instinctively responsive to pornography to some degrees [higher for males]. Humans naturally has the neural circuits to response to sexual elements.

As with human nature, ignoring extremes [porn addicts], the more the average person is exposed to porn, the less is the sexual response.

However, I believe the correlation of high porn seekers in terms of religiosity will be very high for the average Muslims. This is because the Quran and Islam ignore reality and suppress the natural tendencies of the average person's interaction with pornography.

Therefore when this urge is suppressed the more the Muslims will seek out pornography.

In addition, there is no effective methods for the average Muslims to modulate his various impulses in contrast to the Eastern religions.

In major cities like NYC where multiple types of people live, they will carry whatever makes them money. They probably carry Beer also.

These people are not Muslim by the very definition of the word.

That leaves open the question I have asked here: How many Muslims are there? Certainly not close to 2 billion, which is what many Muslims claim. I would guess under a billion.

"The point being there are Muslims that do not follow Islam. "

No, there are not. Just like there are no Christians that do not follow Christianity.

However, there is another side to this. People who submit to Islam and see the sick and perverted teachings in Islam (mass rape, pedophilia, multiple wives, women as property, sex slaves, adult suckling, pedophilia, etc) and simply follow Islam.

You may be under the assumption that people submit to Islam because of indoctrination or teaching.

Islam is very individual. One first comes to find reason to believe God(swt) exists and after they do that they may discover Islam is the proper way to worship. Then they begin the path of learning how to perform Islam. If they have actually found reason to know God(swt) exists they will eventually perform Islam even if they never hear of the Qur'an or Muhammad(saws) If a person is treating all people fairly, acting with compassion, are not aggressors and respect all life, they are already performing a very large part of Islam.

Muslim: an adherent of Islam

Islam: the religious faith of Muslims including belief in Allah as the sole deity and in Muhammad as his prophet
the religion of Muslims, having the Koran as its sacred scripture and teaching that there is only one God and that Mohammed is his prophet;

"The point being there are Muslims that do not follow Islam. "
Hogwash. They are not Muslims.

"In Parts of Europe less than 75% of the Muslims believe in the Existence of heaven and hell,"
Hogwash. They are not Muslims.

" In parts of Africa up to 55% of the Muslims do not believe the Qur'an is God's Word."

" In the Mideastern and North African Muslim Nations less than half the Muslims read the Qur'an or do the obligatory prayers."

Seems they are not Muslims if the prayers are obligatory. Obligatory for what? Being a Muslim?

You don't get to make up your own definition.
