FYI, this website is not a kosher Jewish website. It's a site written by and for Jews who used to be Torah Observant, who for a variety of reasons have turned away from the Torah and now choose to attack it and attack those who are careful to guard the Torah and its mitzvos.
Read the site if any of you choose. It might be insightful. But it will not give you a Jewish viewpoint on anything. Only a viewpoint of those who have turned their back on the Torah.
Since its not Kosher per your statement, how do you know it is not?
Why don't you go out and buy a new black hat, or are you like these Chabad people around here who don't work~? Not trying to be rude, but none of them work and they can afford new vehicles (or look new) as well as the homes they live...long story, which goes back to my other topic I started "Chabad House".

I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to tell me, or what my hat and beard have to do with anything. FYI, I don't daven at a Chabad nor do I have anything to do with them.

I went into too much detail and confused you, sorry. If your hat is old, why not buy another one~?

Ah, I see. It's not my hat that is old. It's the style of my shtiebel that I said was old. A shtiebel is a small orthodox shul. You can google it for more detail on the word.

This is a topic for a thread that covers it and thus it doesn't belong in this thread. If you wish, you should start two new threads that ask about the clothing worn and one that covers groups that seem not to work. I will throw in my two shekels without the arrogant remarks.
Don't you have a pair of jeans, shirt or sneakers that are well broken in? You really don't want to get rid of them since they are comfy and broken in even if they don't look too well to others. Those items are within your comfort zone and so is his hat. Capish?
