My resolution is to figure out what the next step is and take it. That's still wildly vague, I know, but that's for future me to figure out. I just know I can't stay at my job much longer hoping that they'll lay me off -- that does not a happy aragx6 make.

Well, not much for me. Just a few trips I have planned. Need to re-visit a few places for my website. Have locked in Vegas, Bay area (san fran, san jose, oakland and sacramento), Austin, Atlanta, OKC, Montreal, Houston, Portland OR for sure as they all are top priority for 2012, but will probably hit 10-15 others as well, moslty out east and mostly smaller cities.

Also plan to see my Royals in Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, NYC, Baltimore and Boston this year and If I"m lucky the all star game in KC. Have not been to a game in the new stadium in Minneapolis yet, so that will be cool. Also want to see games while in bay area as well as the new ballpark in Miami (no royals though)! We have been to games in about half the parks so far, so should do some damage to the ballpark list this year. Should be a good year!

LOL, yea, pretty standard though. I forget how much we travel sometimes till I think about it like in a post like like this haha.

This was 2011

Los Angeles, Long Beach, Vegas, 3 trips to KC, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa, St Pete, Charleston (SC and WV), Savannah, Cincinnati, Cleveland (with a side trip to Cedar Point!), Columbus, Raleigh, Philly, NYC, Boston, Virginia Beach, Charlotte, Springfield Mass, Richmond VA, Hartford, Jacksonville/St Augustine, Lexington, KY, Buffalo and Niagara Falls.

My kids are geography freaks now. They can identify structures and skylines in cities that many people couldn't that live in them and they get to fly in helicopters above cities across the country. My youngest is a transit freak. The only 10 year old that can tell you what cities have light rail vs heavy rail etc. Pretty much take it all for granted though.

The ballpark thing is a blast though, you really get a feel for a city by going to a baseball game and talking to random fans.

Yeah,,,actually last year I have no time with my family because of some important appointments in various places too, and I am planning next year to be different like spending more time with my wife and parents every Sunday.

If you make it down during spring and summer, be sure to check out the bats!

You should come down since you like photography and this city is pretty photogenic even outside of downtown. If you want to ride the metro-rail, it only runs on weekdays.. FYI

Austin is on my list of places I'd like to see soon as well. A dear friend is living in Houston currently and we'd like to pick a weekend to meet there! Houston wasn't a bad town, but my plan is to try and visit her a couple times a year while she's in her residency program and I don't have that strong an inclination to go always to Houston.
