Just correcting the misinformation in the other thread title. KCMO typically ranks around 10th-20s, not 'most'. Last year KCMO ranked 22nd improving from 21st year before.

Not sure why this couldn't have gone in the other thread, but ...

They have, however, had neighborhoods that were very high on the list of most violent neighborhoods:

#8 and #6 on this list from '09 were the highest: 25. Chicago, Ill.

Right, there are some very dangerous hoods on the E Side and they are easy to avoid.
