Hi. I just moved to the kentucky area and am looking for group homes in the lexington, ky area. I have looked every where and having a hard time locating these facilities. Does anyone know if they have like in home support or jobs for caregivers out here? Thanks. Will be looking for a response soon.

Contact Bluegrass regional mhmr in Lexington they have group homes.also Advocate Homes in Danville has group homes.

I am looking for a group home for my son. He is 19 and trying to finish high school with not much luck. With me working I can not keep an eye on him much. He has diabetes, seizures, and was diagnosed as mild mentally delayed through the school system.

Check with ARC of the Bluegrass - it's a large and active group and should be able to help you and your son.

Western KY & Paducah area Contact Four Rivers Behavioral Health(Adults) or Community Alternatives (Adults & teens) Homes managed by Four Rivers: Riverwood Adult Group Home in Paducah, Willow Group Home-Mayfield, Willis Group Home in Benton, also adult group homes in Salem & Princeton KY, Ms Barnes manages the home in Salem
Staffed Residences in Western KY managed by Four Rivers Behavioral Health or Community Alternitives. Adult W0rkshops = WATCH in Murray, Community Alternatives in Symsonia, JU Kevil in Mayfield, Four Rivers Behavioral Health Adult Workshop in downtown Paducah, Easter Seals in Paducah.
In the Bowling Green area you have "Lifeskills" that could provide you with information about group homes
