I used to work in that building. The only noticeable problem I know of is the elevators; they should've been replaced 20 years ago! I personally don't care what they do with CPT, but I find it interesting that the newly anticipated project, all in all, will cost over $150 million (which supposedly saves money on long-term maintenance.)
(Okay, okay, I would be a little saddened. My dad has and continues to work in that tower. I used to spend days with him at work as a small child. I've seen July 4 fire displays from 20+ stories up. I used to take the elevators, hit random floors, and run around other floors when the building wasn't occupied. Those were good times.

As for the parking garages, though, they need to consolidate all the garages into a new centralized six-story garage, demolish all the other crumbling garages, and turn them into park/green space (extending Fort Hill Park, River View Park, creating a green ribbon from Ft. Hill to the Old Capitol complex, etc.)
