Wow, the weather looks terrible up in middle TN this afternoon. Anyone have any problems? Sure hope not! The weather channel was in Murray County, which was hit with a lot of wind damage.

Stay safe everyone. It looks like an all rain event here in N. GA.

Hey Gem, since we just moved into our new place yesterday, we won't have cable until next Tuesday - so no weather channel! Any word on the weather channel about East TN? So far it has just been a cold, rainy day here in Oak Ridge!!

Hope everyone is enjoying their day - and if the weather is bad where you are, please stay safe my friends!!!

Bebette, get out your galoshes and rain slicker! Thunderstorms, without the high winds, should have hit the Knoxville area by now according to weather info on 'puter. Clearing by 1 PM tomorrow.

Perfect for unpacking and staying indoors.

We just had light rain. I hope you don't have bad weather, gem. I think there might have been bad weather around here? We didn't see it.

In Oak Ridge we just had a pretty steady rain and some wind. Nice out right now...but I think they are calling for a chance of rain overnight. We need it....

On a happy, completely off-topic note, grandson Andrew Joseph arrived into this lovely world about one hour ago! Mama, Dad, and Baby are all just fine, but Gram is a waterworks this morning.

This is grandbaby number 6 and we all couldn't be happier! Enjoy those little ones, parents and grandparents. They grow so quickly.

Thanks, everyone. Little "Drew" weighed in a 7 1/2 lbs. and I am sure he is gorgeous. I keep watching for the first picture to come through on my cell phone. His 3 yr. old sister is on her way to the hospital to meet her new baby. Wish I could see that!

Gailli, you will absolutely love being a grandmother. You get to do all the loving you want and they love you right back!
