Why is it tough to find seafood in Las Cruces?

1. Red Lobster
2. You can catch fresh fish and cook it in the BBQ wrapped in some foil with garlic, salt, pepper, lime/lemon, and butter...

-- I love the mix of Mexico/America (I'm probably alone here)

I am quite sure that you are NOT alone.

Ibarrio, I agree with you on most things, but Red Lobster is not known as good seafood in most cities anywhere near the ocean.

That's true. Red Lobster is not known for its great seafood, at least on Long Island (which has many wonderful home grown sea food restaurants) .

I love that I can go run my dog down by the river and I don't have to worry about any leash laws.

I love that I can drive 45 minutes and be were there are NO people and the likelihood of seeing someone is very small.

I love that people say sir and ma'am and held doors open.

I love that people will stop and let you into traffic.

I love that traffic is still not anything like Santa Fe or Alb.

I love the style of mexican food that is the norm here.

I love that I could buy a reasonably new townhouse for less the 100K (I also love that it's gone up even though the national market is down).

I love a lot of things and that's why I've always moved back here after moving away. There are things I don't like but as the OP suggested that's for another thread.

Very interesting threads here about LC. We actually plan to settle in TorC but first may reside in LC for awhile. These threads provide much useful info. I'm looking forward to this town.

I think you misunderstood me. I was implying that reasons you don't see Seafood places in Las Cruces is because of Red Lobster (popular in Cruces) and because people go fishing in Las Cruces...
