I go up about 4X in the heat...or rather the cul-de-sac does. We hit close to 5,000 gallons a day at the present. More like a 1,000 a day in January.

Pools are roughly the same usage as lawn. Mine is different in that it has an electric cover and is never left open for any significant period. My cover provides safety as well as water and chemical savings. Does not actually make a real savings though as the cost of periodically replacing the cover is about the same as the cost of water and chemicals.

I'll be paying my water/sewer bill before the end of this month in full instead of monthly. Total 114.00 (discount) instead of 126.00/year.
