Of course all categories of crime can involve people who know each other. I will assert though the effect is less on robberies than any other category I can think of.

I still will hold that much of this is proportional. A high number of family disturbances almost always tracks high violent crime rates. I suspect both are driven by the same demographics factors. The actual risk may well be much different than the gross number but it will be relatively less in an area with lower gross numbers.

I would certainly agree that living in an area is an exceptional way to find out how the area is on a number of parameters. It is however difficult to do in practice. The newcomer has to make a gamble and should get the best info available. That the information available is not everything you would like it to be does not prevent its use.

I chased them till the speeds got way over what I will admit here. I tried to PIT them but they obviously had no fear and just went faster.
F-in Tourists! They must've been painting the town pink!

Got the new burglarly and stolen car pages up.

Interesting...Henderson and the North/NW make Summerlin look bad on burglaries.

Crime in Las Vegas
So, what's really important, is that a ***** and her pimp are arrested in the strip corridor, rather than their home in Summerlin, will prove to be of more important than the possibility of a future shootout in Summerlin?
