So guess who is getting deported? Stephanie, the straight A student that the US paid to vaccinate and educate for 18 years.

Not the mom and dad who broke the law in the first place. ICE doesn't have a file on Mom because she never filed for DACA.

Those that stayed in the shadows, including criminals, won't be affected.
Read all of my replies. I specifically mentioned the adults that then create hardships for their kids.

Nothing illegal about DACA. He simply used Executive Orders to determine the priority of the enforcement of the law. That is exactly what Trump has done and is doing. You think Trump has a magic wand that lets him suspend the Constitution for 6 months?

Even DAPA was not found Unconstitutional. The vote was 4 to 4. What Obama should have done was simply raise the issue in the 9th circuit where he would have been upheld.

That comment was by an attorney working for FAIR which is outrageously anti-Immigrant. It is a paid comment not a neutral view. There will certainly be some game playing on DACA. But how large is simply speculation. The projections would indicate it is not far off what would be expected.

If they deported every DACA young adult in the valley, you know what would change for the rest of us? Nothing.

The time to act on illegal immigration was between 2004 and 2008 when the floodgates opened. Throwing out the least liable amongst them is nothing but throwing some low hanging fruit to the loyalists.

.
YOU ARE SO WRONG, TOTAL MISINFORMATION AND PROPAGANDA! Did you even bother listening to the video? Obama admits his later to be guilt!

Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4 of the US Constitution:
"The Congress shall have Power... To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization".
Citizenship by naturalization is a privilege to be given, qualified, or withheld as Congress may determine, an individual may claim it as a right only upon compliance with the terms Congress imposes.
Not the President.
Not the courts.
Not illegal aliens.
Not ethnic front groups.
Not political parties.
Not cities.
Not states.
Not mayors.
Not governors.
CONGRESS!.

Got it?

Obama FAILED to do ANY permanent immigration reform with a democrat controlled house and senate for two years. He then preceded to break federal law, and ignore the constitution. He overstepped executive authority.
Don't be mad a President Trump. He is simply restoring law and proper separation of powers.
Be mad at Obama.
Be mad at Bush.
Be mad at Clinton.
Be mad at the other Bush, and Reagan...

Another total twisting of words. You are confusing immigrants and ILLEGALS! You come here illegally and then guess what? YOU ARE AN ILLEGAL ALIEN!

Those stated numbers of the article are not that far off. There is widespread abuse of the system where you even have nasty gang members that said they were good for DACA and the qualified them!

And you simply do not understand what Obama did. He simply prioritized the enforcement of the law.

If you are able stop and think. If the House and Senate pass a law with the Presidents agreement or override his veto but provide no money to enforce it...is it still a law? The immigration laws now and for a long time require that certain actions be performed to legally immigrate to the US. But the cost to enforce that law is one to two orders of magnitude greater than the money provided to do so. So is there an immigration law? Well it is obviously not going to be enforced as there is no force or money to do so.

So we now have the question of how the Executive should deal with a law that is enforceable only in a small percentage of the cases. Is the Executive required to enforce it randomly? Should he ignore the multi felon gang member so we can deport the family with a perfect 20 year record? Just how do you think this works.

We should not be where we are. But that was screwed up in the late 80s and early 90s. We now have to figure a way to escape. But it is very unlikely to be enforcing the existing law.

there you go again. OBAMA BROKE CONSTITUTIONAL LAW AND DACA IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL! If you can't comprehend that, then everything you say is nullified and this conversation is over between us!

sorry but there is nothing unconstitutional about DACA.

Are you really out there trying to impeach Trump for his six month extension? Are you suggesting it is illegal for Obama but legal for Trump? How does that work?
