Just go to Chinatown in the vicinity of Spring Mountain and Arville. Actually it has spread out between Valley View and Rainbow along Spring Mountain. More than one restaurant there has it, although I have no idea what it is. But I see it on the menus and signs in the windows. If you haven't been there, you'll find a lot more than just restaurants, and I'm sure you'd just enjoy walking around and shopping.

Orchid Garden at the southeast corner of W Sahara and Lindell. Awesome, awesome place. It is often packed and is very reasonably priced. Great food.

Cathay House gets my vote too. There is a place on W Spring Mountain I believe that I just saw advertising all day dim sum, everyday. Have not checked it out yet, but sounds interesting.

I searched the net and came up with Changs. Not really that great I went on Sat. 2 carts, no crab balls, just steamed stuff and sweets. I was greatly disappointed. I will try your other suggestions. Do they serve it every day at noon or only weekends?

The one on Sahara I will try as well as the other next weekend.

Any other ideas for unique food that I should not miss.

PF Chang's has pretty good food, it's just not authentic Chinese IMO. Cathay House is a great place to dine; quiet, elegant, good food and service (usually), but I don't know anything about dim sum. Chinatown has all kinds of good, authentic, Chinese restaurants that offer dim sum, as well as other Asian businesses, and all the Chinese tour buses stop there. Asian people don't live there like they do in San Francisco or LA, unless they live in the surrounding neighborhood, but the businesses are just as authentic as any Chinatown I've seen in this country...maybe a little more upscale than some other places.
