What are your concerns. Safety during the walk, heat exhaustion. Have a friend that shops at Nellis with no car. Uber and Lyft drop and pick her up at the main gate.

Concern is mainly heat exhaustion. The medical center is 4700 North LV Blvd. I get different answers from different uber drivers as far as whether they go past the gate into the base. Google maps says it is a 30 minute walk from the gate to the clinic. Although the map shows a backtracking route. If I'm on foot maybe I can cut across. I don't know the layout yet.

That sounds like the hospital which is not actually behind the gate. It is in fact across the street from Nellis AFB proper. I believe Uber can drive up to the front door. I am sure there is someone on here who uses the hospital and will know for sure.

Looking at Google Maps says you are right. It looks to be across the street from the base.

If you can think of anyone who might know please have them post. If you google nellis visitor center on Fitzgerald to 4700 N. LV Blvd. on google maps, then you will see what I am talking about.

I am physically knowledgeable about the hospital. Had a physician as a client a few years ago. Went through all the stuff about getting there from the back...Which can be done but has restricted hours.

Procedurally though no one goes through the main gate to get to it. The Hospital has its own set up.

Why don't you give them a call and ask how to do it...

I presumed the visitor center is at the main gate. Is that accurate?
